Koh Samui Full Moon Party

The Koh Samui Full Moon Party is attended both by locals and tourists. It is one of the most well attended parties in Thailand. The party stars when twilight falls. Then the coastlines are placed with lots of small tables and posts are decorated with lamps. During this festivity, Thai and international Dj’s take center stage and play some of the most exciting tunes to the party people from the huge sound systems. They play all kinds of music from hip hop, Trance, R&B, reggae and even pop music. During this party, you not only enjoy dancing to the beats, but also get to taste some of the most tasty cuisine and drinks. You can also just hang around the beach and relax with your group while enjoying Traditional Thai dishes and international favorites such as burgers and pizza. You can also order and sip your favorite drinks like beer, chang, and many more. Many bars and restaurants are open until dawn to serve the hungry and thirsty party-goers.
Koh Samui Full Moon Party is also a venue to meet new people from all corners of the world. It is attended by around ten thousand people during low season and the number doubles during peak season. Aside from the dancing and drinking, it is famous for the fire dancing and fireworks displays. You can also find some vendors selling party stuff like those funny-looking eyeglasses, Henna tattoos, glowing bracelets and light sabers made from neon gel. Koh Samui Full Moon Parties are usually held any full moon day from the months of April to December.
When you are attending a full moon party for the first time, remember to not carry any valuable items when going to the beach party. The atmosphere might get too crazy and you will never know of some pickpockets that are also joining the party. Second, when a person you are not familiar with approaches you and offers you a drink, it is recommended that you do not accept the drink. You never know if that person mixed something into your drink.
A visit to Koh Samui will not be complete if you do not attend and experience a Full Moon Party. If you love beach parties in general, you should head to Koh Samui and get yourself entertained.
